This became the main source of his artistic inspiration. The daily life, tent settlements, seasonal Nomadic migrations with their camels, horses, sheep and also the multi-coloured carpets, traditional fashion with the regional landscape features are the crucial motives of his unique paintings.
To describe the details of native life style, Bejan Bahadory utilises different materials including watercolour, oil and acrylic on paper. As a didactic painter, he perpetuates the life of the Nomadic tribes who are currently migrating their original roots for big cities to establish their lives.
Therefore besides the visual joy or fabulous components which are offered by his paintings, we can also admire some life documentation of certain cultural aspects belonging to that inspiring region.

Siroos Bahadory

Siroos Bahadory, who was born in 1957 in the province of Shiraz, follows his father’s stijl
in describing the details of Nomadic life belonging to his tribe.

Unlike his father, he moved to the city of Shiraz when he was 8 years old. The colourful elements of Ghashgai tribes together with the nostalgia
for his childhood motivate him to focus not only on portraits but also on the various details
using oil on canvas and crayons on paper as well.

Siroos has been living in The Netherlands since 1995. He gives exhibitions of his father’s
works combined with his own recent paintings in different Dutch cities. He takes part also
in group exhibitions like the travelling exhibition of “Inspiran” - (www.inspiran.nl).

The paintings of both the son and the father can be seen at the pages of (online galleries) in this web site categorised according to the themes.
